My Dreamland

There is a place,
Full of wonder and desire,
A place of serenity,
Built from my inner souls fire,

The sky is always blue,
And the sun always shines,
It is the dreamland I've created,
Inside my inner mind,

Take now a moment,
And look with your eyes,
This scene I shall paint,
A reality, defied.

There are rolling fields of grass,
Wild mustangs roam the plains,
Patches of wild flowers and lilies,
Are scattered throughout the terrain,

Look there to the north,
A waterfall graces the land,
A mist rises up from the rocks below,
As the water gets disbanded,

Within the pool of water,
A plethora of fish,
Big ones and small ones,
Every color that you wish,

In the south, a massive forest,
For all the woodland creatures,
A place of refuge for all the animals,
That my dreamland now features,

And all these wonders of this world,
Are for you and me to share,
For when I die and pass away,
You will be the heir.
