Dawn

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Feb 18, 2008

When the night reaches dawn
and the eagles fly,
their freedom unmatched;
never questiong why,

The world will be able to see the day
the darkness of the night, cold and sable
will leave the people around the world
whose freedom is as yet questionable.

When bridges no longer tremble
under the weight of passing fates
the world may stop and realize
hope can sometimes sift through the grates

Someday they'll realize
that life doesn't owe us a thing
we are its pawn, its fun
life is itself codependent-it can't stop clinging
