Look at the sky,
what do you see?
The darkness creeping over,
my world has become so dark and cold.
Look at me,
what do you see?
A laughing girl,
that isn't me,
that's the pretend me.
Smiling and laughing,
like it was my favourite day,
that is pretend,
just an act for everyone to see.
Look at me closer,
underneath the pretend me,
what do you see?
A girl screaming with anger,
a girl crying with pain,
a girl bleeding with hatred,
and a girl that is me.
