Why did you say it if you didn't mean it?
Who knew three words could hurt someone
so much if it wasn't for real?
Don't you understand how strong those words
really are?
If you don't mean them, it can cause a heart to
shatter into a million little pieces.
When you said it I thought you really meant it,
but now i see that to you, it doesn't mean a thing.
You act like they're just words.
Words that don't mean a thing.
I just wish you'd understand the meaning of them
before you go and shatter someone else's heart,
the way you did mine.
