What happened?

I used to look in your eyes

fresh
new
alive

now i look in your eyes

scared
young
ungrasping

i used to hold your hand
and i would feel
electrical
beautiful
loved

now i hold your hand
and i feel
well,
i wouldn't know
i haven't held it in a while

i used to lean back on you
and i would feel
you
strong
there

now i lean back on you
and i feel
you
a ghost
away from me

i used to tell you all things
and i would say
i love you
i care
i dare

now i tell you nothing
because you won't even talk to me
