I appreciate the
Melancholy
In wave after wave
Scuttling to shore

I can even adore
The tragedy
In setting sun
Pinks and peaches

What I dont
Understand
Is the irony in
A goodbye

The humor
In a final kiss
Or the bliss in
A final blow

But then again
I never was
A believer. . .
