Speedy Train

by Iola   Feb 19, 2008

Confusion dripping from your mind's eye
Reminds us how life can be unfair
Taking a peak and wanting to pray
As you realize I'm there but nowhere

Left icy cold by frozen love buttons
The kind that melts the closest to your heart
Happy families and Christmas muttons
Torn my lovers arrows even further apart

Crying at closeness and steel prison bars
That keep you from laughing in the open
Every life leaves its own little scars
Some fly and others just remain broken

Questions jumping from the flames in your eyes
Blowing fire at those who hold you back
Running to-wards nowhere in a state of surprise
A speedy train can sometimes loose its track
