This is for you Thomas:
No one knows, but the pain, it hurts so bad right now.
It hurts to know he's gone,
It hurts even more to know I didn't get to say good-bye.
He was a wonderful man. So kind, so strong.
He went through more than any man I know.
Constant pain, hurt, grief, and doubt.
He didn't know what fate had in store, but he knew his
era was drawing to a close.
Through his time, he's lost three sons and his life,
But now he's back with his sons, his mother and his brother and
he has a life better than any other.
I know he's happy, I know he's content.
I know all his loved ones are here grieving and missing him,
But if theres one thing I knew about the man, its this:
He wouldn't want us crying,
He wouldn't want us to grieve,
But instead, he would want us to be happy for him.
Not because he's gone, for that our hearts have shattered,
But because He's home on God's Glory land, and to him,
thats all that mattered.

We miss you and love you Thomas.
