Seducing Suicide

by Amerasian   Feb 20, 2008

I love her,
She loves me.
I love him,
He loves me.
But everything is not well.
The voices of people,
Whisper evil.
Every action,
Every mistake,
Is permanent.
No going back.
Look at the mess we made.
Life is never easy.
Every cut so soothing,
Every pill so precious.
The blade I hold,
Gleams.
Oh so beautiful.
But this is not right.
The pills, my drink,
Are not holy water.
The gun, so powerful.
One chance,
One bullet.
The pain I carry is too great.
Must I suffer more?
The trigger waiting to be pulled.
Calling my name,
Seducing suicide.
I think of him,
I think of her.
Are they happy?
I put down my solution,
And run to the problem.
They need me,
I help no one.
