Love is done

The meaning of the word love is done.
It will never recover from what I thought would end up being so perfect.
I hate the fact that I thought he would always be there for me.
But its my fault for not saying yes when I should have.
Its my fault for losing the only person that would make my day a little brighter.
Its my fault for thinking that he would come back after every time i rejected him.
Its my fault that i lost him...my love.
Its my fault that i lost the person i trusted the most and the reason i lost a best friend.
Its my fault i hurt on the inside every time i reminisce our times we had together.
Its my fault that every tear I shed is lost all because of me.
Its my fault that he has given up after 4 years.
Its my fault he is gone and wont ever come back.
Every time i look in the mirror i hate that I'm looking at the reason he left.
Its my fault that he will never know what I really felt for him.
Its my fault i still shed tears every now and then.
I hate my self for losing him...
I hate myself because i didn't follow my heart and decided to follow along with what everyone else said.
But i hate the fact that this is done and over with.
And that i never had the chance to say good-bye.
