Goodbye

by louise f   Feb 20, 2008

So this is where it ends
Its hard to say goodbye
for all these years we've been friends
it brings a tear to my eye

Walks in the park - laughter fills the air
not a single cloud in the sky
Stroking Lady Jane's black mare
watching the ducks play and fly

I remember the day we went to the ice rink
It was bitterly cold
We shared lemonade - my favourite drink
and i had your warm hand to hold

I love going Romford with you
Going on a big shopping spree
everyone knows us - Geo and Lou
Best friends together - You and me

I don't want you to go
please don't make me cry
Our memories will fade like snow
But I guess this is goodbye
