How the lonely Keep

by christopherinchaos   Feb 21, 2008

Come as you are,
no need for invitation.
When you look to the sky and see the stars,
then begins the night restoration.
In search of angels,
you come as you are,
Your eyes focus on one bright star.
When hope dangles,
by a fragile string,
life seems like such a small thing.
I write these words, for those who care,
about love, about fear, and even despair.
The lonely keep, their heads still high,
it's just too hard to say goodbye.
Like a duck in water, you just float around,
and it's hard to connect your feet to the ground.
You may feel alone, maybe even dead,
but you've got to remember, that it's all in your head.
Think of your brain, as your personal ghost,
that is the place you should love the most.
