Many months have come and gone
As the hands of time keep moving along
I have seen many seasons pass
Trees drop their leaves while birds flee to the south
Many warm summers followed by cold falls
And another Valentines Day now belongs to the past
Yet through all the time gone by
Through all the seasons that have come me by
The one thing that remains unchanged by time
Is the love I still feel for you
And on Valentines Day
My heart reminded me just how much I love you still
Thoughts of you filled my day
Dreams of you made my night
And while the sound of your name rang in my head
The memory of your hug kept me warm that night
So while I sit here picturing your beautiful smile
I ask myself if I will ever be able to outrun time itself
As the thoughts of you fill every corner of my heart
I wonder is time will grant me my deepest desire
And allow me to hold you in my arms for the rest of time
