Why does it feel this way

We say enough when we speak, may be you weren"t listening
We do enough to make you see, your never looking
We cry tears to show our feelings, you don"t care
We offer our hearts for you to hold, all you do is make it cold
We give all our love away, but all you do is look away
We try to leave and start a new, but we can"t forget about you
We try to erase the memories we have, we try to sort all the good and bad
We try to see what love can be, so why does it feel so empty
