Simply Masochistic

by CaptureMyHeart   Feb 22, 2008

Trying so hard one step at a time,
one foot closer, three behind.
running into doors slammed in my face.
telling you goodbye just in case.
hating what I am, knowing how you care,
screaming it is unjust, it is not fair.
tears gather in my eyes, what have I become?
everything I have worked for has now come undone.
shattered on the floor I broke without a sound.
they step over me not looking at the ground.
blankly staring into space as these walls crumble in.
I am sorry my love that we could not have been,
throwing stones at me the monster, yes me the freak
I slowly die, is this what I seek?
as I cling to time...
simply masochistic, oh what a line
