Sin City

by Adam Murphy   Feb 22, 2008

This city of sin
with so much to see
yet I'm staring at her
... right beside me
the lights of the city
shine on her face
she smiles in awe
my heart starts to race
we stroll along
pushing through crowds
and my feelings begin
to peek through their shrouds
I poke and i tease
we banter and play
if time has to freeze
let it be on this day
her hand squeezes mine
our bodies press tight
as we drift along
on a warm starry night
dozens of doors
with things to amaze
and still its her
who's stolen my gaze
we walk inside
more games bring her near
is a kiss what she wants?
i hold back in fear
but the look in her eyes
tells me I'm right
and one perfect kiss
seals a great night
