My shiny castle has dark rooms too
Empty spaces that I shut away and hide
This leaves only place for rays to shine through
Cover-up my flaws with vanity and pride
One day came you and spoke to me
About beauty, love, honestly and being free
You said that you want to know all my depths
You said you didn't care about the rest
And so we embarked on a journey around
My castle, my flowers and my garden
Never before have I felt such solid ground
Carefree and loving, not begging your pardon
Smiling and smiled even more in our moment
For once I'll open dark doors to another
Looking forward to one sweet moment of atonement
Yet you turned cold once you looked and discovered
Once again, the castle gets rebuild
This time the locks on some rooms even stronger
Hurting you makes me feel guilt
So I can not hang around any longer
Watch your watch and tell me about a time
When my presence only made you smile
My love may be sweet, but my mind is a crime
With you I could have walked more than one mile
