I love my new place, I adore all it has to share,
I look from my window and disappear to the world out there,
The stars at night are so bright they catch me unaware,
The sunset is breath taking, I don't want it to ever end,
The sunrise brings a new day filled with hope and joy that I wish would never end,

I look out my bedroom window at night and disappear under the blanket above,
I feel free, I feel safe this blanket has another world out there,
I dive deep in and enjoy my brain coveting what is above,
The turmoil of life the possible future that maybe on hold,
I am floating and enjoying all within what may begin to unfold,
I look closer seeking more, I feel deep beneath the cover's
I am contented but need to feel and breath what I am destined for,
I close my eyes and wish hard that one day I will feel thee once more,
The stars are so bright that once my wish has been made
I will be able to say goodnight and send my love so tight.
I blink one more time catching one more sight of my light,
I see it disappearing as daylight comes about,
I close my eyes capturing my starlight
I say goodnight and hope to see you again every night.
