Why Thank You!

Why thank you for slamming that door in my face
And for pushing me onto the floor.
For putting my bag in the toilet,
I really could not ask for more.

Why thank you for saying how ugly I am
And for telling me that I should die.
Thanks for the confidence booster because,
I almost forgot how to cry.

Why thank you for making a fool out of me,
I could not have done it alone.
Thanks for all the times that you laughed at me,
For helping me grow a back bone.

But most of all thank you for showing me
Who the really important ones are.
The ones who stick by me and don't turn away
Are the ones who are my shining stars.

    i love that stanza.. and the rhyme and flow throughout the entire poem.. excellent job!.. i loveee this one.. i love the repetition.. kinda like my style of writing and i lovee the ending and the concept behind the whole thing.. excellent subject to write about! love it haha... thanks for the comments on my poems =)
