I'm sorry for being born this way

by she   Feb 24, 2008

Why are you telling me I can't be who I am
Why are you telling me I can't like who I like
How dare you tell me, I'm a sinner for being born this way
Mommy I'm sorry, I gross you out, I'm sorry upon I you look down
Mommy I'm sorry I was born this way, I'm so sorry I was born at all
I've always tried to make you happy, I never meant to disappoint so many
I never meant to shatter your dreams, of your daughter, walking down the isle with a Christian man.
But why can't you see, I'm still your daughter, I'm still me,
Yes, I'm a lesbian, but.please, please, know, I'm truly sorry for for turning out this way, at the cost of your pain.
