How someone can deceive you so much
That you soon believe they're perfect
You never notice all their flaws
All the warning signs

It's a horrible feeling
One that no one should ever feel
The kind of thing that people pray to never happen to them
The thing you always swore would never happen to you
You always say you'll never be that victim
The one that can't do anything but cry
The helpless one
But what do you do when it is you
When you are helpless
When all you think to do is cry
How do you get over that kind of pain
How can you ever be okay
How do you move on with your life
The truth is it'll never be okay
The way he treated you
The way he hurt you so bad
And maybe you'll still love him
Even after all of that
But you can't go back
You'll never go back to him
He treated you like you were worthless
And you deserve so much more then that
So cut him out of your life
Throw out everything he gave you
Delete all the messages he ever sent you
Do whatever you need to do to get over him
And then go on with your life
Be happy
And show him exactly what he's missing
Make him wish he would have done everything differently
