How Amazing You Are

You smile that smile
that lights the day,
it can turn a day to sunny
from a darkening gray.
with one simple hug
you let them know you care,
and that no matter what
you will always be there.
with each word you say
you let them know,
for them,
to the ends of the earth you would go.
every little gesture,
such as wiping away a tear,
helps to remind them that
there is nothing to fear.
and in your eyes they'll see
hope and kindness there,
because when they suffer
in their pain you will share.
with you they laugh
without any effort
for it is something
you easily make them do,
it helps to let them know
they can always count on you.
you are so amazing
I don't know how it can be,
that whenever I tell you this
you don't believe me.
so believe me now
for it is true
how else would I be able
to write so many poems about you?
