Golden Silhouettes

by brie kelly wise   Feb 25, 2008

I was crying myself to sleep
While she loved you in your arms
You should've brought your camera
So we could laugh it off

I'd pretend for her and pretend for you
And forget about my ego
That doesn't stand a chance
In this lonely off-beat world

I'm just trying to find my place
Bound and broken, I'm erased
As I search around this place
It's just me up in this face
