A Motherless Child

by Sarah Dawn   Feb 25, 2008

Long sleeves, hoodies, jackets
Everyday, even in the summer
People wonder, but never ask
She is too sweet, no one would hurt her
People ask, but not about her clothes
She smiles and says, i am just fine
Everyday she lies, they can never know
She cries at night, the pain is unbearable
If only they knew the truth
They would never believe her anyway
Why even bother, when she can just lie
No one really cares about a motherless girl
She caused her mothers death anyway
She deserves to suffer some pain
