Goodbye

I meet you in my dreams,
and you greet me with a smile.
All the fun we had,
was very worth my while.
Laying in the grass,
and staring at the stars.
Talking for hours,
made me forget all my scars.
But then one day,
you somehow crossed my path.
I lose all thought,
when you catch me with you glare.
Then I go to say a word,
none of the thoughts were there.
Then you finally spoke,
and it killed me inside.
The only words you say,
are GOODBYE.
