A typical love-poem

I never though I'd ever write
A love poem for a guy
I'm not a typical romantic girl,
Those poems normally make me sigh

But sometimes I find it hard
To find the words to say
And when I write it down
It's an easier way

So I'm not gonna write
About your beautiful blond hair
About eyes as blue as the sea
Or how you breath the air

I just want to tell you that
You showed me a feeling I never knew
This feeling makes me smile
Every time I think of you

So against all my principles
My first love poem is for you
So I can tell you that
I really love you
