I miss holding your hands
and talking late at night
i miss the promises you made
saying everything would be alright

i miss the kiss on my forehead
you gave after you said good-bye
i miss the voices you would make
just so i wouldn't cry

i miss you holding me
tightly in your arms
i miss you telling me
you'll keep me safe from harm

i miss the taste
your kiss left on my lips
i miss your hands
resting on my hips

i miss the secrets
we used to share
i miss the fact
that you were once there

i miss the "i love you"
that you would whisper in my ear
i miss that you were willing
to battle all my fears

i miss all the late nights
and the things we used to do
but the thing i miss the most
is simply being with you.....
