Lonely Man

A lonely soldier you are,
A lonely man scared to cry.
A given dream flew by,
And that lonely man stood up.

A tear falls from your eye
makes its way down your cheek.
A lonely being hides
behind that smile you give.

A lonely man you are,
Like a tree without its leaves.
A poor dreamer you are
with dreams gone in the wind.

A lonely soldier stands tall.
A lonely man you are.
A poor dreamer too proud to give up
And remorse is all you have.

**this poem is dedicated to my friends that have gone to the army & navy and all those others that fight for this country to make it better, even if in the process of "perfection" their lives are taken...**
