Alone Beauty

by Sara   Feb 25, 2008

She stands alone, Facing the crowd that judges her, With fear in her heart, She opens her mouth to speak, as her voice floats away. She tries to catch it, But it glides through her, Like she isn't even there. She taps her foot, on the wet stone floor, Thinking that she's lost out, Wondering what she's here for. She tries to walk, But slips an trips, And hits the ground, Falls into another part of her. She's an Alone Beauty, Stood on her own, Blinded by the light. She wants a reason to speak, A reason to stand, A reason to walk. An Alone Beauty, Can't you see, She's part of you. She's part of me. Sideways glances, Moving in, Twisted memories, of what should have been. Bring her round, Make sure she's found. She's an Alone Beauty, She knows you love her, But can't you hear her crying... Please let me go.
