Im sorry, brother

by StandStill   Feb 26, 2008

The louder he screams
the less she hears
the louder he sound
the less near

he yells as loud as he can
and she just turns away
back to the cooking
back to the scalding pan

she doesn't care
he doesn't see
i know it's not fair
he's in the same boat as me

so with tears down his face
he picks up the yell
he moves up his pace
closer to hell

he won't understand
why
the back of her hand
hits him. he can't see himself die

and the blackness closes in
and the end is near
and the fall will bgin
and on my cheek
there will be a tear

not really about my brother, just inspired by a fight between he and my mom.
