I Miss The Old You Honey Come Back To Me

by Kathryn H   May 19, 2004

There you go again.
You have changed.
Another useless day trying to convince you,
you are no longer the same.
The man I once loved never acted so strange.
He never played pretend.
I gave my heart and soul to you.
Put in all my effort and commitment. What has gotten into you?

I miss the old you.
We use to talk for nights, dreaming of the day when we will once reunite.
My memories of you are all coming back.

I don't want us to fall down the drain again.
I have always loved you.
All my hopes of you are not yet dead. I hope it doesn't end here tonight. You left me empty and forgotten.
You were beyond my wildest dreams. You were my dream come true.
Now you left me in a frightening reverie.

I use to revere you more then anything else.
I still admire the old you.
My hopes and dreams I wish would not fade.
I don't want you to go away.

Please come back, and stay. Approach me with love and compassion like the good old days.
