Drifting

by Tyler   May 19, 2004

I stand alone in the dark.
Blood pours from my arm,
You've ripped out my heart.
Mistaken by my love for you.
I didn't know what else to do,
But now I lay here with you.
I wondered about the pain u went through.
Your body topples over,
Wings emerge upon your back.
Your soul is resting nowhere,
A conclusion do you lack.
As anger rests among us
My wish is to gouge out my eyes.
For i have destroyed something so luscious.
My heart inside me dies.
A Knife upon my ears,
I try to block out your silent screams.
My death is the last of fears,
my nights, but horrid dreams.
I gash upon my throat...
As living is not a way.
Your Name...
No sweeter words were wrote.
But now I drift away...
Far away....
