The Notebook

by Confined   Feb 26, 2008

She carried it with her,
Everywhere she went
No-one knew what
Was in it.
The thing in question
Is not a burden of sorts,
Not in so many words
But a notebook.

Covered in little doodles,
Hearts, scribbles,
And even flowers.
In appearance, it
Was just like
A normal diary.

She wrote in it all the time;
Her thoughts,
School work,
It didnt matter,
It all went in
The notebook.
No one thing was
Ever overlooked
In the notebook.

Every thought.
Every action.
And....
Every feeling
She had ever felt.
It was all there,
No eyes ever saw
Or every would see,
Those little private thoughts
She kept like writing on stone
Within the hallowed pages of
"The Notebook"

And

This sadly is where
It was all written.....

Interesting. i love the creativity in it. It was very imaginitive and made the poem unique. Although the flow was a little hard to get in some areas but the word usage still kept me captivated. Well done 5/5
