Change The World

by -] Nobody [-   Feb 26, 2008

I had a crazy dream once where I became a poet
My words touched humanity and quotations quoted
My words were sweeter than that of a morning bee
And readers were enticed with each word they'd read
It was a stage of hypnotism where they could soar
Get lost in the daze of a precious life and more
I was setting definitions and giving out directions
Healing incisions and destroying hate with correction
Finding right in every wrong that was out of sight
And those lovers loved, loved into the starry night
Marriages ceased to result in another simple failure
Divorces were the opposition of peoples taled cure
We all went to Church and were proud to hold hands
We didn't damn for mistakes but learned to understand
It was a kind place where there was more than a book
We spoke to Jesus like real men and never really took
The trey was overfilled each Sunday from true bliss
A man helping man and it was true, it really did exist
We'd give our praise and thank him for our only life
Then we'd go home with our family, with our only wife
Sunday lunch and supper both and everyone could smile
They could smile real smiles, we called em worthwhile
Here in the South your boy was known as your neighbor
You wouldn't kill for em but you'd pray for something greater
We walked in the footsteps of perfect and drugs were jaded
I seen Heaven in my dreams and the whole world just faded
Faded
Fade
Fad
Fa
F

I woke up in a stir and realized as my mind twirled
We've only got to the end of time to change the world
