I pleaded and cried
i did my best and i tried
but you would not stay.

i know what you said
and you heard what i did
but believe me none of that was true.

i thought i needed you
like the air i breath
but moving on is what i needed to do.

you watched me walk away
not a tear in my eye
this time goodbye really means goodbye.

i wasn't enough or at least for you
but ah..you so i can play this game to.
