Hidden Things

I live in an illusion
Apparent to you

And gave you an appearance
Transparent from view

I could see that you
were in a subconscious dream

Living in doubt
Unsure of yourself

The time that I spent
asleep in your mind

Led to the life
that I've come to find

Not everything is what it seems
Look beyond for hidden things

Understanding pain brings compassion
Along with emotion comes confusion

We've been through both
and we're better off

Now our love shines
through the dark

Bringing a distinguished outlook on life
Opening our hearts for a better start

Our memories' fate entwined forever
Never could we truly part
