Break each others' hearts again

by Lemma   Feb 28, 2008

I'll drink you in with my eyes
As we say our goodbyes.
I'll make a memory then and there,
The warmth of your touch and the smell of your hair.

Tears will cascade down my face
And I know that soon I'll leave this place
You don't show it and you won't cry
But I know that on the inside you'll die.

I'll want time to stop as I kiss your lips
But fairly soon my hold on you slips.
I know we'll see each other before too long
And for the time in between we'll just have to be strong.

But it still doesn't stop the pain that I feel
And the fact that I want this not to be real
The sun has gone in and now comes the rain
As we break each others' hearts once again.
