Thoughts of You

As I gaze upon the limitless sky,
I can only think of you.
the images won't go even if i try,
but I must stay true.

I remember that day,
once upon a time.
I couldn't say a thing
neither word or rhyme.

Your eyes saw right through me
piercing me to the soul
I knew your hopes and dreams
and I swear I'll accomplish your goal.

You told me that I was the one,
who made your days bright.
Those words inspired me,
and I will continue to fight.

I want to be with you under our tree,
Having a picnic or maybe some afternoon 0tea.
I wanted to see you and me in that sight,
but now you sleep in eternal night.
