I've locked my heart a long time ago
I've decided not to let it ever break again
For I've loved once in my life
I loved someone who I thought was true
someone who showed me what it's like to love and lose
he made me dream
he made me fly
with every word, with every smile
But it was a big lie
you didn't really love me
you fooled me, you played me
how could you break me?
you were my first love
you were it for me
But No,
you had to leave
you had to show me what's real
yeah... It was you from the start
But wait, you are not to blame
It's me
I was the one who allowed you to hurt me
I was stupid enough to let you get me
But thank you sir
thank you for teaching me
Teaching me never to trust
never to let anyone in
yes my love ... yes it was you who broke me

    Wow. i really like this. i know that sounds a bit twisted because its a sad poem but i mean i like how you did it.
    awesome last lines. you described what everyone feels at, at least one stage in their lives.

    A very touchy one. Know what, those who hurt you dont deserve you and its never your loss, it will always be theirs. I know, its hurts and its hard to trust again, but life is about spending time with the wrong people waiting for the right ones to come, maybe he was just another wrong one. Stay happy, nice work keep up
