Go On Remembering

by RadianceInReverse   Feb 28, 2008

If I could've walked away,
I would have.
If I could forget you,
I would've.

If hate could fill my heart,
I would've given up
taking your words seriously,
I would've lost you forever.

If sadness left my world,
I would've forgotten your kindness
focusing only on our last words,
I would've loved another.

If reality knocked on my door,
I would've locked it, forever
blocking out the things seen,
I would've pushed you away from me.

If words flowed through completely,
I would've let them sink in
taking them whole heartedly,
I would've of blocked out my wisdom.

If you stopped loving me,
I would've been crushed indefinitely
my breath becoming thin,
I would've given up all, my everything.

I could never forget you,
I'd rather go on remembering
than to of never had you at all!
