The Ocean

by Confused Heart   Feb 28, 2008

Walking on the shore,
A tranquil surrounding emerges
The cotton candy clouds float over my head
The fiery sun begins to sink down into the water, the shadows before me become longer as the night kisses the days end

All is quiet; I hear the waves collapsing against the shore, the crisp salty air brushing my face, the cool wet sand between my toes sending shivers down my spine
And right now as i stand, letting the water splash my feet, all my troubles seem to recede with the tides
Feeling as if the ocean and I are one, the surface is calm and relaxed but below is complex and confusing
