What happened?

What happened to us?
we used to be best friends.
i would always tell you everything,
and that i'll be there until the end.

we used to be inseparable,
together everyday.
when did that start changing?
when did we turn away?

why did we give up so soon?
our secrets we always shared.
i guess we just drifted apart...
and found other people who cared.

i miss our laughs, and late nite talks
about nothing at all...
now theres no time for that,
we barely have time at all.

sometimes i wish i'm dreaming,
that this is all a lie.
sometimes i feel like screaming,
i feel like i could die.

i can't stand to lose someone like you,
someone i really trust.
