Roses and Stitches

by My Decadent   Feb 29, 2008

Listening to the silence howling into my ear -
Add another black rose for the pass of each year.

Feeling the pain rising inside once more -
Add another stitch to mend my broken core.

Listening to the music of these sobbings in the dark -
Add another black rose on this grave inside my heart.

Feeling the breath of Death blowing closer to my face -
Add another stitch to reconstruct my fallen grace.

Unable to hear your silent call from below -
Take this black rose and cover up this hole.

Unable to feel love eliminating hate -
Unsew another stitch to make it "too late".

Unable to hear the melody of my thoughts -
Take this black rose away before it rots.

Unable to feel anything at all -
Unsew another stitch and watch me as I fall.
