We grew up and grew apart
Got older and forgot
You fell in love with someone else
Someone who I am not

I stare into your eyes today
And your not who I knew
I stare into my life right now
And there's a missing spot for you

Life move on and time keep ticking
But my heart is still the same
Though shattered into a thousand pieces
It can still make out your name

My ears still hear your voice sometimes
My eyes still see your face
My skin still craves your touch so warm
No one can take your place

Sometimes these days they seem so hard
And then I think of you
Wonder why our days have washed away
And what am I to do

When I'm waiting for the phone to rang
Or for that knock on my front door
Or think about the days thats gone
They make me miss you more

My heart it trembles in my chest
My eyes they cry soft tears
That I'll grow old without you here
Is just one of my fears

So if you ever get this poem
Come back to me someday
Come back before our time is gone
