Deadly suprise

by Mia Haney   Feb 29, 2008

She sits there,
waiting by the phone.
he's not calling,
and she is thinking
she did something wrong.
wondering if he loves her for real.
she wonders what hes thinking.
as she closes her eyes she sees her worst fear.
she sees him with another.
holding her near.
kissing her lips.
his eyes focused on hers
as he tells her he loves her.
she jumps.
tears roll down her face
her wrists bleeding.
another mark that she had made
another lie she'll have to tell
to hide it from the world.
a tragic ending
that she won't see
when she takes her last breath
and flies away free.
what she doesn't know
is that he is there
walking up to her room
with a single rose in his hand
that phone call he never made
that suprise..now its too late.
he finds her laying on the floor
and his life suddenly ends
along with hers.
