Beware

Like dragons,
Restrain them and see what they do.
They'll bite and they'll scratch,
They'll blow flames at you.

Don't fear them,
The irons might keep them in place,
Though they might scratch,
And blow fire in your face.

So powerful,
Are their teeth and their claws,
They're muscles are strong,
And sharp are their jaws.

Like dragons,
Restrain them and see what they do,
Beware of your feelings,
They'll take over you.

This is an excellent poem, I really like the word play. I like how the ending where it says to beware of your feelings, they'll take over you. Just like the dragon in chains, he's restrained for now, but sooner or later he w ill get away and attack who or what has had them in bondage. Like felings, they come out sooner or later and when they do it can be sweet or filled with rage. Excellent, job well done.
