My fallen angel

How does an angel lose his wings
and break his halo
and abuse all those lovely things
how does he misplace
his god-given grace
and what a shame
to see
pain distort his lovely frame
and still we
put our faith in a fallen angel
we see
this angel is sad
but i'll do the best i can
to brighten his day, make it not so bad.
