Save Our Home.....Earth

I stand outside tonight,
and gaze upon the stars,
i cant see them very well,
the air is scarred.

too much haze,
i can barely see them shine,
i miss seeing so bright,
why have we crossed the line?

the air we breath,
poisoned with gas,
our precious air,
how long will we last??

i walk along the road,
admiring natures creation,
but all i see is trash,
our home we're just wasting.

its so sad
that we've caused such destruction,
this is our home,
its like garbage is our only production.

i go to the lake,
i wanna swim and drink,
i see the fish are dying,
people cant we think??

we're killing our home,
animals live here too,
lets try to make an effort
its time to be true.

we've only got one home,
its here to share,
lets try to clean it up,
its only fair.

mother earth,
she's giving us so much,
we're destroying her,
lets give her our gentle touch.

lets show our love,
let us heal and mend,
lets save our earth,
so she can shine again.

You know its sad when you cant go outside at night and stare at the stars anymore....all you see is a haze. or you cant take a walk to the park or admire a drive when you see trash all along the roads. what have we become?? a people so inconsiderate or our mother....our home....our earth. i think its time people see through the ignorance and start seeing the light in all this...lets save our home and spread the word. lets try to make a difference a step at a time.....lets try..
