I Thought Was My Friend

Our friendship is now ruined
And it's such a sad memory.
Like the old friends of mine,
You turned your back on me.
Yeah, I know, I'm dumb, a fool
To trust people so easy.
I'm a wimp, I admit it
But I never thought,
You just used me.
I don't have any shoulder to cry on.
I guess, I don't need it anymore.
Never again, I'll be tricked,
Never again, I'll trust people,
Nor let them know who I am
After all, no one would catch me
If ever I would take my fall.
The poem I just made right now
Is straight from my heart
And my heart broke in a dreadful way
When I wrote the last part.
Goodbye is what I have to say
But deep within my own mind
Thoughts of you are buried.
Those happy and sad moments
I had shared with someone
I thought was my friend.
