Lucky

by girlnextdoor   Mar 1, 2008

Your lay in bed at night,
thinking it's just not fair.
"I really wanted that outfit",
but mom and dad don't care.
At least you have a bed, a roof over your head,
at least your parents aren't dead.

You skip school every other day,
it's too much work for you.
You don't try and get good grades,
you've got better things to do.
Don't you realize how lucky you are,
to get to go to school?
It's not an obligation, it's a privilege.
Stop being such a fool.
